MTN Business launches services that will host SMEs securely on its domain

MTN Business has launched today Bring Your Business Online, a platform that gives small and medium-sized businesses (SME) increased visibility by providing online presence on the MTN managed domain for less than R20 a month.

“SMEs are the lifeblood of the South African economy, however, many of them are limited from reaching their full potential because they rely on word of mouth or traditional methods of promoting their services. With this new solution, MTN Business gives them a secure online platform to expand their reach through the expansive footprint of the digital world,” says Alpheus Mangale, Chief Enterprise and Business Officer at MTN Business.

The service is available for R199 per year on a non-contractual basis, once the year is complete, the SME will have the option to renew the contract or upgrade to one of the five MTN website-in-a-box solutions available.

“The first 500 business owners to register for the service will receive this service absolutely free for the first 12 months. We have a world class infrastructure that supports our customers with seamless connectivity, hosting additional customers on our domain is a testament of our confidence in the service we provide,” adds Mangale.

“Furthermore, to give value to our SMME customers, MTN will host seminars and  provide access to a number of industry seminars geared towards entrepreneurs. These and other networking sessions will give them the opportunity to gain insight on issues relevant to them with subject matter experts,” says Mangale.

“By leveraging on our digital and mobile platforms, MTN Business is giving SMEs flexibility and control of their business” he concludes.
