VWV continues to invest in the development of women

Strongly geared towards women empowerment in the workplace, leading global brand experience agency, the VWV Group, has announced the appointment of Michelle Jean-Louis as its New Business Development Manager. Jean-Louis will be responsible for growing and developing VWV’s new business development strategy and will be supported in her role by Koo Govender, the first female CEO of the agency.

Jean-Louis’s experience in executing a strategic vision will strengthen the company’s position as the industry leader in brand experiences. She joined the VWV Group as a Senior Project Manager two years ago and led a number of annual projects, including the SAB Marketing Sales and Distribution Conference and the Ford Go Further Motor Show.

“My passion for business development could not be tamed and over time I found myself increasingly drawn to this side of the business” says Jean-Louis “My career in Marketing and Business Development has equipped me with skills that will enhance VWV’s potential through excellent client relationship management and matching service offerings with client requirements. I am passionate about VWV and believe in everything the brand stands for. Growing with a company you believe in is hugely important to me, and I’m very excited to be leading VWV in the next phase of its journey.” .

CEO of VWV, Koo Govender, had this to add: “I look forward to developing Michelle in this position and giving her the support she needs to enhance our extensive product and service suite. We view her appointment as a sign of our commitment to remaining the leading company in our industry with women instrumental in driving our success and I stand behind the idea that her promotion will be a valuable example to other women within the Group; a further confirmation of our promise to promote from within and invest in the development of women.”

With a proven track record for successfully leading large scale events and driving innovation that opens minds and inspires action, the VWV Group has embarked on a new development journey that aims to further develop its growing portfolio of regional, national and multi-national accounts.

“We wish Michelle the best in her next chapter and look forward to seeing the company grow in leaps and bounds, with her assistance in chartering its course,” concludes Govender.
